Can we spend some time on understanding the writers dilemma? - Page 8

According to Ekta Maate ......she wrote KZK 1 when she went through a bad break up.

When I read that she has said time has changed , she is writing this story wid a new perspective ( not exact words .....cause I can't recall the exact words....in dt promo wid SRK😔).... Maybe finally Ekta Maata has also has also embraced new era and ideologies.

But what I thought was a reboot turned out to be a mindless copy paste.

When KZK 1 was made ......that was an era where all female leads in Ekta's show used to leave the first male lead.....marry another person who she later falls in love wid .....though the first male lead is still shown to be her soulmate.

Nowadays shows hv better ideologies.....even her own show YHM always stuck wid one couple.So I had better expectations both from her and the writers.

Anyways coming to the topic I don't why they even need writers when there's nothing new to say

I think she is Prerna......but she didn't marry a Bajaj .

I always felt Ekta wrote this not as a ode to undying love but just to show how some Anurag broke her heart......dts y she butchers his character everytime and makes him one sad character.

It wasn't promoted as remake but a reboot where she promised that it is show for current generation. Also who said we didn't know Bajaj would come and marry Prerna. We know and we have no issues.... issue is with the inconsistency and the whitewash where every wrong deed is been shown as the biggest favour to the mankind. Great post and I have enjoyed the posts on this thread. I have followed Ekta offscreen and she has spoken about how she is/was a control freak who used to manage every aspect of all her shows. It’s only recently she has a team of head writers/ content that manage her Tv and she has let go abit. Even then, it seems she is very aware of how her shows are performing and what’s happening since her Tv revenue is important to fund her App and movies...that leads me to believe she is aware of the slumping ratings due to poor writing.

I think Ektas team does understand that the changing trends which is why they have shown more ‘evolved’ characters, and to appease all fandoms and groups of viewers (as I believe her show is broadcast on her app as well) they have made the characters so weak and limp that they have simply boxed themselves. They have hired expensive actors and focused a lot on style which means they have no budget for sets, which further impedes writing, and if you back yourself into a corner enough number of times, the walls start to close in on you.

I don't agree with you here Mily.... his intentions were always pure whatever way he chose.... But he never was close to Komolika but here Bajaj is being whitewashed. So I don't consider that as getting whitewashed.

True they did spend more on getting a gud star cast to attract viewers .Even the initial promotions were on a bigger scale.

But the money spent on the set is so less that they hv to modify the script to fit in every character into the same house.

This gives me the feeling that Ekta probably is no more taking an interest in the show she had once called close to her heart.

Not just one house..the role of supporting cast is reduced to none recently . Mohini has become a side actor..moloy is not waking up..sharmas have vanished.
