Thing is, Akki's characters' action is a bad thing, but what he did had some factors a which led to that scene, and most important was him thinking she is easy. And nowhere in the movie, it is shown what he did was okay, yes his character was let go easily, but it wasn't because people thought what he did wasn't wrong, but because of the other factors like them not wanting trouble from police and all that. So from where the context factor isn't a factor here.

Comic relief was the confusion which led to this, not the harassment.

And his character was a pervert, loser and not really a nice person when it came to woman, so if people are really looking for an idol in that characters, than it is their fault .

AFAIR Never seen Akshay being over friendly ,atleast in BTS. He is rather formal with everyone.
