The actor has shared a legal statement on social media, calling the reports baseless and unverified while warning that those spreading such claims could face legal action.

Amruta took to social media to share a statement issued by her legal team, addressing the reports surrounding her marriage and personal life. The note, effective from August 10, stated that certain online, social media and digital platforms had been carrying content about the actor that was allegedly baseless, defamatory or an invasion of her privacy.

While acknowledging the importance of freedom of expression, the statement made it clear that Amruta would not ignore what she considers the misuse of that freedom. It cautioned against publishing or sharing rumours, unverified allegations or misleading information about her.

The statement further said that instances were being monitored and documented, and that legal proceedings could be initiated against individuals, organisations or platforms responsible for creating or circulating such content, wherever there was sufficient evidence.

The legal warning comes at a time when rumours about Amruta and Himanshu’s relationship have been gaining attention. Reports recently claimed that the couple has been living separately for more than a year, prompting fresh speculation about the status of their marriage.

Amruta and Himanshu first crossed paths in 2004 while working on India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj. Their professional association eventually turned into a relationship, and the couple tied the knot in January 2015. Later that year, they appeared together on Nach Baliye 7, giving audiences a glimpse of their chemistry as a married couple. Over the years, both have continued to build their individual careers.
