And she didn't return the jewelry because she was being an ideal DIL. She did it because she got pissed off by Beeji's words. Ego ko lagi and essentially used Minnie as an outlet to unleash her frustration.

I am laughing at this because when I had initially mentioned this after bapu made an appearance, some people thought I was nuts and they expected that Dadu, Beeji should do it as the obvious choice.

Totally agree. Her growth has been more subtle but the change is there for everyone to see. She was not afraid to go against her husband and did not worry about her marriage breaking apart. She's always been a strong woman and through her they showed that women need not be each other's biggest enemies. Ever since Madhu and she stood up for Babita, she hasn't looked back and she's a genuine well-wisher. Rano, on the other hand, despite everything Babita and Minnie did during Preet's wedding.... woh baaz nahin aayi.

@Bold - me too. i never wanted biji dadu anywhere near babita and mini.

Mini, 17 years old running around managing entire wedding preparations is so unrealistic. Like so so so unrealistic.

Mini is not the super human they want us to believe.

i remember when ashok calls khatri for help and khatri says bewafa biwi kisi ko na de and she gives him a dhamki, "agar gayi toh apne baap ki dukan lekar jaungi".

rano toh is the typical poisonous neighbour. only good on face till it suits her. she was even asking biji to get mini back and get her married at 18.

But this is telling... He hasn't thought this all the way through, as to the emotional and practical implications of being her husband and truly giving her the place of a wife.

I still feel on some level the marriage is for his sense of security, he doesn't want to lose Minnie or Babita, so his focus hasn't been on some of the other things. His main goal is to get married and as long as that is happening and everyone around is happy, he is happy too. I could be wrong but I will go so far as to say I don't think he has even thought about the intimacy side of things. If he had, the would not have been so relaxed about the marriage or so non-chalant about all the rearrangement of stuff at home. He just hadn't thought of all this at all and frankly, I won't be surprised if he isn't yet at that stage where he can think of Babita in that way. He's too respectful by nature and way too shy.

What surprises me the most is that HS is letting her and is not concerned about her health or fatigue.

no obviously she should have spoken up to lovely. i meant she shouldnt have been so guilty about hurting lovely and beeji & dadu. if babita wasnt so hurt minni woulndnt have gone to then and requested them.

I still feel biji hurt her image of the adarsh DIL . so babita dint listen to mini & because mini back answered beeji asked her to return the jewellery and say sorry if she loved her babes. The way she forced mini with if you love me is where the ego comes in. the same way in which she asked hanuman to say sorry if he loved her.
