I think he meant the popcorn fluffy romance. Again what he told Minnie about her being overly influenced by movies sounded like a dig from the writing team. Besides, no matter how much he loves Minnie, he's not going to talk to her about passion, is he? Or will he at some point help her understand this from a man's point of view? She still has some misconceptions about love and has a lot to learn.
His version of romance and passion is something else. It's spontaneous and rarely conceived ahead of time. Also, the Dheere jalna was a trailer, but what I saw in the Tum pukaar lo scene was way hotter. And he's the same person after all who we saw in the holi scene with Imarti which was ..... He may have quietened over the years but his capacity to love and his immense passion is part of his character. You see it in all his relationships, and even his commitment to serve his country. He's an all or nothing sort of guy when it comes to such emotions.
fluffy romance is a bit overrated. passionate hona chahiye. and ofcourse he cant to mini. she is a child and moreover his daughter.
baap apni beti se passionate love ke baare main toh baat nahi kar sakta na?
@Bold - agree.
