she should know better that if she is so unhappy about giving it back to lovely thinking what biji will think mini will feel bad and it will only lead to her going and requesting them. its sad that instead of giving confidence to mini by staying strong she does thisit was her madness to be a adarsh bahu due to which she forced mini to return jewellery & say sorry. its very bad how she disregards her daughters respect just because they are elders & thinks of their respect first

On a more serious note, I think she was okay with being around because they had supported her in her new life. They approve of HS and Beeji had even previously asked her if she had ever considered marrying him. But then there's the fact that they may have only been this nice because their own kids weren't around and they just want to be with their own khoon, aka Minnie.

Inn ke liye Minnie hi sab kuch hai. Babita toh jaye bhad mein, hai na? 😡

she has been caged for so long that she doesnt understand how to react. babita respects NB form the heart, not because of relations, so she will eventually understand and become closer to NB.,

Koi ek to floor pe roz girta. He barely fits into it and can't even stretch out completely. Which brings me to another point that may not have been discussed here. Notice how despite having such huge haveli with plenty of space, he confines himself to sleeping in the aangan, living in almost austere settings, not even stretching out on a proper bed after a hard day at work.

Can he let himself do that, and fully enjoy himself gradually? He has also held off from experiencing true happiness and the material comforts in life all these years.
