Does Janhvi deserve Gunjan Saxena as her 2nd film?

Her second film and she already has a dream role. Actors usually wait 5-6 years before they are offered such a role.

I know this brings in the topic of nepotism.

A lot of people can argue that she is Dharma talent and karan johar has the right to cast her in such a role. Maybe she is suited for it, maybe she auditioned before being signed. we don't know all this. Lots of people comparing her career direction similar to Alia's who did a highway in her 2nd film and impressed critics.

If all star kids are getting great roles very early on with great directors/good content films, how do we distinguish between very good and average actors?

No, she doesn't. It's a clear case of nepotism. Jhanvi is really average in all departments.

This is the sad part of bollywood now...... average actresses are shoved down our throat saying they are great........eventually it will be the industry's loss......... if Jhanvi is average in this and ruins it, then the movie will loose money.... hum toh apna hard earned money waste nahi karenge.
