Ever since the Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer Inshallah was announced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the fans are intrigued to catch the unusual pairing on big screen. While, Khan will bring his charismatic screen presence, everyone is excited to see how Alia manages to pull off in front of the biggest star of Bollywood.

Joining in the latest developments of the project, it is learnt that the location hunt is completed as filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali along with executive producer Prashant Shah and team Inshallah have locked California and Florida for the first phase of the shoot. One expects the romantic-drama to go on floors, at any time.

Inshallah marks the reunion of Bhansali and Salman after almost 12 years since Saawariya. Recently, director Rohit Shetty’s film Sooryavanshi, which was to have an epic box office clash with Salman Khan’s Inshallah on Eid in May 2020, will now be released on March 27.

Sooryavanshi features Bollywood’s ‘khiladi’ Akshay Kumar in high-octane sequences, while Inshallah is going to be directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

The project is expected to go on floors by August end this year.

Salman & Alia will be seen shooting on the streets of Orlando and the beaches of Miami. Considering the massive fan base that both the actors have, SLB wants to ensure that both the actors are safe and have planned for Hollywood level security for them.

“Alia and Salman are huge stars. They are recognisable around the world and Miami has a huge Indian diaspora as well. So it is important to have a proper security arrangement for them to shoot in Miami. Even when Hollywood films are shot here in Miami, there is huge security. Bhansali’s team wanted the security to match with Hollywood standards,” informs a source close to the development of the film.

Earlier, it was revealed that Alia’s character of an aspiring actress is from a place situated near the river Ganga, and hence, locations around Varanasi and Uttarakhand have been decided upon to shoot at, after the US locations.

A source close to the development informs, “There are reports in a section of the press that Inshallah is delayed because of the shooting of Dabangg 3. All rubbish! The shooting starts as per schedule on August 21.” According to sources from Bhansali Productions, “Salman and Alia have met for a number of readings. They look fabulous together.”

Alia was apprehensive about her own responses when she would come face to face with the temperamental Salman. She had hoped she wouldn’t behave like a fangirl. But the ‘awe’ soon thawed and melted, and Salman and Alia are now all set to be part of one of the most beautiful love stories ever put on celluloid in Hindi cinema.
