Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Deepika Padukone have worked together in three films Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. All three films have done well at the box office and duo might soon collaborate for a new film soon.
"Deepika and Bhansali are in talks for a film for quite some time now. The actress shares a good rapport with the filmmaker so she is likely to do his next film. However, it is yet to be confirmed whether she will be part of his next film with Salman Khan or for a different project, said a source.
It is said that Bhansali is keen to bring Deepika and Salman together on screen but the final call on the cast is yet to be taken. Meanwhile, Deepika has liked his concept of Heera Mandi, but he is yet to officially announce the film and cast.
Deepika is all set to start work on her first production Chhapaak in next few weeks. The actress will play acid attack survivor Lakshmi Aggarwal in the film.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali finds himself in a dilemma as he finalises the title for his upcoming love story featuring Salman Khan.
"Bhansali has given two titles for registration Dil De Diya Inshallah and Pyar Ho Gaya Inshallah. It was earlier being speculated that the film's title would merely be Inshallah but on further discussions with the team, he came up with two more names for the film and decided to register them. Bhansali's favourite among the two is Dil De Diya Inshallah (3DI), informs a source close to the development of the film.
A source at the Indian Motion Pictures Producers' Association (IMPPA) also confirms that Bhansali has indeed applied for both the titles and not just in Hindi but also in Marathi.
In the meantime, news of Bhansali wanting to remake Baiju Bawra in his own inimitable style and having approached both Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan is gathering momentum. And, the title dilemma follows the filmmaker here as well.
"Interestingly, Bhansali has given us three titles Baijnath, Baiju and Baiju Tansen to register, informs a source in IMPPA.
