They start filming end of year.

Movie - the way Bhansali goes with things - will take 6-9 months to film... at least.

So I'd say summer/autumn 2020.

Priyanka Chopra in talks with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the upcoming Salman Khan starrer film?

Recent reports stated that eminent director Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be reuniting with Salman Khan after 19 years for a love story. The duo has worked together in the 1999 epic romance-drama 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam', starring Aishwarya Rai as the female lead.

The reports were also confirmed by the CEO of Bhansali Productions, Prerna Singh, who stated that the director and the actor will be reuniting for a romance drama and their collaboration is the best thing that can happen in terms of storytelling.

Recently, the final episode of Karan Johar hosted chat show 'Koffee with Karan' featuring Kareena KapoorKhan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas was aired. While the duo went on to spill beans about their personal life, the actresses also hinted about the movies we might get to see them soon.

During the rapid fire round, Karan posed a question to Priyanka whether she would prefer working with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Vishal Bharadwaj. To which the actress replied with a smile and said that she is already in talks with both of them.

We can't stop deliberating whether Priyanka and Salman will share the screen space again in the upcoming Bhansali film. The hit pair on-screen chemistry has been loved by many. Salman and Priyanka have appeared together in films such as 'God Tussi Great Ho', 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi', and 'Salaam-E-Ishq'.

Movie buffs would love to watch Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra recreate their magic on-screen. Earlier, Priyanka Chopra had pulled out of Salman Khan's upcoming film 'Bharat' after which the makers roped in Katrina Kaif in her place.

On the professional front, Priyanka Chopra will be next seen in Shonali Bose directorial 'The Sky Is Pink' starring alongside Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. Salman Khan has 'Bharat' scheduled for Eid 2019 starring alongside Katrina Kaif.

The rumours doing the rounds of the Khan superstar Salman are true. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is indeed directing Salman. However, the reports of the two getting together to do a costume drama are wrong.

Laughs a close friend of Salman Khan, "Sure, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known by his costume dramas. But, he has not directed Salman in even one costume drama. Khamoshi, Hum...Dil De Chuke Sanam and Saawariya were period films. Their new film together is a contemporary love story.

Sources say that the script that Bhansali has in mind for Salman was evolving for a long time. He would have made this particular subject only with Salman or not at all.

More importantly, after Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat, Bhansali needs a break from the costume drama and the Ranveer-Deepika pairing. Really! For how long can he rattle the sabre without the edge blunting? Bhansali has done all he could for now with the period genre and with the Ranveer-Deepika cast.

It is time to move on and think what context and pretext to do so than SLB-Salman combination which, trade experts say, can still shake the box office if given the right creative stir.

Rumours have been rife about Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali coming together again for a romantic film, 12 years after Bhansali's Saawariya' (2007).

With reports saying that the film will be known as Inshallah', today's developments suggest the film could be christened Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam 2', after the super hit 1999 film.

A source said, "Sanjay, who is penning the script, has narrated the idea to Salman and he is on board. Though the film isn't a sequel or a remake, it may be called Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam 2. SLB feels that the movie has all the elements that Hum Dil... had. So, the title feels like a natural fit for part two. However, it will have a different story and new characters. An A-list heroine will be cast opposite Salman, but the makers haven't approached anyone as yet.

There is strong buzz that the film could be going on the floors by the end of 2019, "Salman starts Dabangg 3 in the last week of March. Once he finishes the third instalment of the cop franchise, he will begin work on this project. The movie is being readied for a 2020 release.

It's now official that Sanjay Leela Bhansali will work with Salman Khan for his next film, but there is no word yet on the film's leading lady. Word from the SLB camp is that Deepika Padukone ranks high on the filmmaker's list. The actress has been his muse over the last three films; he promised he would not stop casting her after she was married, and because Salman and Deepika haven't made a movie together, so it's what is called a fresh pairing' in Bollywood lingo.

But there is also talk of Salman being keen on Katrina. He had the filmmaker audition her for Bajirao Mastani (2015) when he was briefly attached to star in it.

Other names that have popped up are Alia Bhatt and Janhvi Kapoor but it is not lost on Bhansali that both actresses would look especially young opposite the 53-year- old star.

Meanwhile Priyanka Chopra revealed on the last episode of Koffee With Karan that she is currently in talks with Bhansali about a film together. Does that make her a contender for the Salman project? No, say insiders, explaining the actor still hasn't forgiven her for walking out of Bharat at the eleventh hour. Besides, sources say Priyanka was referring to a different film (a heroine-centred biopic) that Bhansali might produce but not necessarily direct himself.

The biggest bomb would be if there's TWO actresses atarring in movie - like in Bajirao Mastani, where there was enough scope for both Deepika and Priyanka.

So any permutation will be possible.
