For me,

Tanuja, Mumtaz, Sadhana , Zeenat, Parveen Babi were trend setters even Sharmila Tagore.

I also loved Waheeda Rahman, Madhubala, Hema for their beauty

Watching old movies of Tanuja was a delight, she was vivacious

for me , Dev Anand, Shammi Kapoor And Feroz Khan come to mind when I think of trend setters.

My mom was telling me what a huge rage it had been when Sharmila Tagore had donned a bathing suit for Filmfare and in her movie An Evening in Paris.

Yesteryear heroines used to look so different from each other! They didn't have the generic big eyes, sharp nose and Kylie-esque lips like how most of today's actresses have..lol I used to get confused between the two Surbhis on TV 🤣

Agree, i was so amazed to see yesteryear actresses donning swimsuits and carrying it off effortlessly and without sensualizing it.

Sadhana hairstyle was a trendsetter, Mumtaz was a diva who started off as a dancer then side roles to main leads and a superstar.

Was stunned to see Tanuja don one in a very very old B&W movie.

There was a charm in those movies. They were amazing times in Bollywood
