It’s been roughly a week since the winners of the National Film Awards 2019 were announced at a press conference by the awards' jury chairperson Rahul Rawail.
Amongst many competitors Vicky Kaushal and Ayushmann Khurrana emerged winners as they received the title of Best Actors for URI: The Surgical Strike and Andhadhun respectively.
Ever since the announcement the two hunks were flooded with congratulatory wishes and messages from all over the country, but the gesture which stood out the most was by Amitabh Bachchan.

Big B along with his wife Jaya Bachchan sent the duo a bouquet of flowers with a personalised hand-written note attached wishing both the actors on their big win and adding that there were many more to follow.
Vicky and Ayushmann, both, took to their official social media handle shared the photo of the beautiful gesture with sweet messages. While Vicky wrote, “This means the world to me! Thank you Bachchan sir and Jaya ma'am”, the 34-year-old actor’s, who is currently excited for his upcoming movie Dream Girl, post stated that a praise from the century's greatest actor is nothing less than a National Award in itself.

The 31-year-old, who has impressed everyone with his acting in Sanju, also received a special wish from singer-songwriter Gurdaas Maan and his wife Manjeet Maan congratulating him on being conferred with the award.
