Had i been HS I would have been sick to the gills of this blow hot blow cold behaviour and OTT behaviour such as the alcohol episode, etc. Babita is actually on a completely different plane altogether whereas HS is actually a very uncomplicated upfront guy! Once he gives his loyalty, he doesn't waver ever or back out. He is there with those he loves through thick and thin and no questions asked, no explanations sought.

You know what really worked against her in the alchohol episode? Despite knowing that she can never take Imarti's place, or that she shouldn't even care to, she was trying to somehow copy what Imarti would have done in such a situation. I think that was another reason that angered him. She did cross the line and made no amends.

He recognized it and that's actually why he said Imarti Imarti thi.

In that scene when HS was telling her to leave him alone after Minnie returned from the hospital, most of what he said was what he had been feeling all along. He never disrespected Babita or did anything against her will. He always respected women but being a simple guy he doesn't always understand "jananiyon ke swang".

Babita used to cry openly and show her pain and share her troubles with HS when she was struggling. That doesn't mean he has to do the same. They are not the same person. She should understand that by now. In all this time, he has only mentioned Imarti fleetingly, except when he introduced her, that too when he was drunk.

@bold absolutely right. He has always understood her and tried to be accommodating, but now he's hurting beyond belief and can't do that at full capacity. I can't even imagine the nightmare he's in right now.

That's why I asked why you didn't feel things were the same. I had a feeling it was for similar reasons to mine, but I just wanted to check first.

I remember the episode where he was trying to explain to her that she needed to stop using the victim card. She has achieved far more than she had ever set out to, and I do think that on some level the success has gone to her head.

Even after all these months, she can't tell the difference between self-respect and ego.

I also think that he's been waiting for her to step up so that she can be ready. He was hoping she'd take his side when NB was calling him a sharaabi, showing him that she would fight for him but she did nothing. That night she went on a rampage of her own and when he confronted her about his rights over her, she had the best opening ever to change the status quo, but what did she do? Nothing. He came home early from work to help out with the pooja, and looked at her. She could have tried to sort out the problem but she did: nothing. He just called himself Minnie's father but after such a monumental change in their lives she said nothing.

This is what angers me so much. HS has always been the one to take the first steps in everything but she has never even tried to meet him halfway. If she knows he has feelings for her, then why not just put yourself out there even a little bit?? I'm not saying she needs to jump into a confession or propose for marriage straight away. I mean, say or do a little something that goes beyond the landlord-tenant boundaries. An indication that she's seeing him and wanting him as more than a friend.

I'm so frustrated with her right now. Idek what she can do to possibly redeem herself or make herself truly worthy for him. Cuz I highly doubt she'll be going back home on her own.

I share your frustration too. I haven't written episode reviews for two days for fear of offending anyone with my criticism of her.

After all this is over, I want HS to distance himself from her and also point out that she wasn't there for him when he needed her and that he is better off by himself if she needs convincing to help him out.

She is weak, full stop. When she is hurt by something she hurts the other person instead of trying to understand the problem fully. She did that with Minnie a few times too.
