Well the confidence with which he is saying all these things makes me believe that he is not making it up. I also don't think he is that dumb to not know if he lies, he's gonna get caught in a minute.

I don't remember anything about this forgettable movie but Wikipedia does have an Indian scientist character "Max Patel" playing a recurring role in the film. Maybe Govinda got offer for that role and he's exaggerating it by making it seem like he got offer for the lead or an important character's role. Otherwise it'll be very stupid for him to say no to James Cameron especially when he was desperate to have a hit film.

^LOL! India was shown as it was. Poor. It still is poor overall. SM showed how life sometimes teaches you the answers to tough questions. Precisely because one is poor and has experienced shit in life, they are wise that the privileged sometimes never gets. When will we get over our poverty hatred? When will we have a different vision than the white man vision of what it means to be rich, developed and content. One can be poor yet all the basic needs can be met and people can be content.

As for Govinda, who knows. Let's ask Cameron no? Why the hatred on Govinda without knowing anything! The internet mob is getting on my nerves!

We do not have a poverty hatred. And what does that even mean? Who in the world loves poverty? And I'm talking about extreme poverty as in the film where child falls into shit and brother was ready to kill brother and they were blinding kids to turn them into beggars. If that sort of thing makes you feel proud and also the others who liked your post.....Well good for you guys.

The white man comes here for solace leaving all his so-called happiness indicators like water and land guzzling golf courses etc behind. And before people get confused again that in one place I'm saying jealous white man and in another I am saying something else, its all about context. One can hold two ambivalent thoughts when context demands. A ll about context!! But here's what I mean, people with extreme PTSD, find spiritual succour only in India....https://www.timesofisrael.com/lifting-away-the-weight-of-3-years-why-we-israelis-go-to-india-after-the-army/

India has something unnamed, unexplained that has always been food for the soul. People here know how to live like "Thoda hai Thode ki Zaroorat Hai"...!!

Lots of Indians live happy lives without having access to the white mans' happiness indicators. But in the movie that kind of extreme slum poverty, where brother wants to kill brother, blinding kids, wading in shit,...yada yada....I'm repeating myself now for the well,....

Aapko hi mubarak aisi poverty and its love. I'm better with my "hatred" for that sort of thing.

Well, Avatar does resemble the Indian word so wouldn't rule it out.

Cameron said the title of the film was a subconscious reference to India. Avatar in Sanskrit means reincarnation.

It is an indian word..doesn't mean the dir needs an indian actor to say that word!!! He is a genius and he cud research..James is an openminded person. Ppl he is sick! Stop taking Govinda seriously. 😆
