People give so much bhaav to HW...😆...no wonder our actors will take up a chindi role in a HW movie....so much inferiority complex we as desis have...matlab Govinda who was a legit superstar in 90s....must be lying...😆

Govinda forsure lacked TACT

Thats the reason why the industry gave no chance to her daughter Narmada despite she struggled for it for so many years and passed her prime.

she was as not so good looking or talent-less as many star kids who got dozens of chances in mega budgeted mainstream movies.

Very interesting - the doctor could very well be Dr. Marwah who is a very well-connected Sikh doctor who lives in Malibu (I believe James Cameron lives in Malibu too).

maybe the Sardar ji doesn't want to be named...not everyone is eager to get into the dirty politics of entertainment especially BW...Maybe he doesn't want to be trolled like Govinda is getting trolled.

The base of Avatar is Hindu mythology and spirituality...It won't be a big surprise if the makers at that time looked towards India for research and talked to some actors from BW....not a big deal at all....so why are people being so sarcastic and unbelieving about someone from India being contacted for the movie? Its not as if Govinda was a nobody...He was a big star and a good actor.

Well, Avatar does resemble the Indian word so wouldn't rule it out.

Cameron said the title of the film was a subconscious reference to India. Avatar in Sanskrit means reincarnation.

I don’t find his claim too far fetched...don’t get why people are making fun of him. Read his whole interview today in the paper and it makes me believe him. I mean only James Cameron can actually confirm this but why to jump the gun and ridicule him like this?

He also mentioned that Slumdog Millionaire and some superhit Bollywood movies were offered to him which he let go...
