Yasmeen is a sweet natured woman, who spreads the fragrance of her love to everyone in need. But she is sensitive, over emotional and not very smart. She always worries about Noor, a little too much at times. How foolish was it that she runs into fire to save a damned dupatta?! For God's sake, a dupatta doesn't protect your child, but you do! She overprotects her, always tells her to carry herself to the approval of the society, entrusts her safety to everyone close to her. If only she trusts her own daughter's strength to handle herself in the face of any problem that would arise in her life. Noor is not a sensitive flower and she doesn't need a gardener to take care of her. Raziya let Azaan go to London and live his own life! That's what a parent should do. Let the child make his/her mistakes, learn from them and grow. Noor might appear childish, but every time she had to make a decision in adversity, she showed a sound sense of judgment. She might not know how to make her own braid, but she knows how to fight for herself and the ones she loves. She also knows when to not fight! She didn't fight to marry Azaan, when she knew that he loves someone else. She wasn't harsh on Khalid even after what all happened with her, because she knows that Khalid is not the real problem, but his parents are! Khalid is obsessed with Noor, but he is not smart or scheming. His parents, on the other hand, can destroy lives. Noor thought about her mother's woes living with Khalid's parents after she leaves for USA! Though she has an overprotective mother like Yasmeen, Noor didn't turn out to be a needy, people-pleasing, under-confident, over cautious person! She has a wild, independent streak in her. Her mother's overprotective ways didn't affect her, but her love and attachment to her did leave a gaping hole in her life. She was the only family she had and now she doesn't have her. But with time, Noor will pick herself up as she always did.

Absolutely hate the way they killed off a very loving character that spreads her love and kindness to everyone around her . They made her really dumb making no sense what so ever to kill her self over a dupatta! Will Noor see her mother’s love when ever she holds it or remember the fire that took her mother away from her because of the damn thing?

Although Noor is playful and carefree she still had a good head over her shoulders and usually made the right decision.You are right although she could have put Khalid in jail she thought of her mom first , the fact that she is leaving the house and what would happen to her mom when she had to look at the people who hurt her daughter day in and day out .
