Ever since I saw Mini getting the pottery wheel and clay, I longed to see a recreation of the iconic scene from 1990 classic movie Ghost. The forum members have waited patiently for this scene. And today, my wish came true. I am sure, just like me, all forum members were mesmerized by the well-executed scene. It was perfect. The background score, direction, light, camera, and above all, the superb acting of Anirudh Dave and Paridhi Sharma. The scene did not need many words. It was one of those times when two lovers let their eyes and body language do all the work. The voice on the radio about the clouds passing by Patiala, bringing some relief to the parched minds, yet falling short of the rain, drenching them in showers of love was apt.
I will wait for the rain to come....I will wait for the lamhe when Babita sings..mera mann tarsa re, pani kyon barsa re, tune kisko yaad kiya....mehga re megha...megha re megha.....Babita dancing in the monsoon rains and our dear Hanuman Singh making entry with an umbrella which he let's go on seeing a love drenched Babita falling in his arms....
Thank you, CVs for listening to us, rectifying certain things we had complained about. We love Patiala Babes. It reminds me of the golden days of TV shows from the 90s. If we complain, it is only because we love it and want it to be a true ITV classic without all the soapy paraphernalia of soaps that is on ITV nowadays.
Thank You CVs, cast, and crew.
