I think he was confused. One moment he wanted to break the engagement and another moment, hesitant that it will hurt Kunal. But I guess he was sure about Kunal not having feelings for Mishti and vice versa. And he had this discussion with nanu where they spoke about how incompatible the two would be. Which is why he went ahead and decided to speak to Kunal :)

Thank you for clearing my doubt dr :) actually I failed to understand that Abeer also do mistakes and to err is human. I think him always as Perfecto perfect 😃. Now I get it .

I actually liked the fact that he was slightly selfish there instead of blindly sacrificing for Kunal. However I have no doubt he would have backed off if he felt Kunal Mishti were interested in each other :)

Ohh okay...I get it..he was happy for a moment..but later realised that something was wrong...it was nanu who asked him to come back and if not for himself then for Kunal and mishti to not get into a wrong rishta....that's why he wanted to talk to Kunal first but before that mishti intervened and ...broke the engagement
