Yes it will be. Apart from off beat story, it has no big hero. The opening will be Deepika's stardom. Next how well made the movie is. If it works then then it will pave way for more such stories and actresses as leads.

On this forum DP's every movie is supposedly a 'litmus test.' 😆Have been hearing the same phrase from Ram-Leela to Piku to Padmavat and now Chapaak. 😆She has excelled every single time so enough said. 😆

As if RS could have made PV a hit if it didn't have DP as the heroine and SLB & his grand vision as the director 😆

Every movie is a teamwork. Hit or flop, the credit or blame goes to the entire team. But of course that doesn't happen in IF.

Ranveer Singh owes most of his success to Deepika and SLB. He became a star only after working with them in back to back hit movies

I'm off topic... I appreciate a film on an acid attack survivor being made and I hope the victims and survivors garner greater acceptance. However, I applaud foundations like the Meer Foundation which practically does something for these people. It takes a bigger heart to offer help than just to show encouragement. Though, I would say both are of equal importance.

If anyone disagrees, please feel free to quote me. Thanks.
