Sanjay has a lot of flaws and his chauvinism and misogyny is one of them. The excuse that men lust over women and people get exploited is just that, and excuse. Star kids are always safe, specially when you come from a prominent family. Trying to limit a woman’s opportunities because of how men would react to it is the definition of being sexist and a misogynist. He himself admitted that he liked that his first wife wasn’t ambitious about her career. Wasn’t he also mad at his sister for not taking her husband’s name after marriage?

All of that being said, this article is still full of shit to a large extent. It’s making assumptions based on what Sanjay says publicly and that’s bull crap. Sanjay and Trishala don’t see other often but they seem to have a nice bond. May not be as strong as his bond with his younger daughter but that’s circumstances and geography. I could be wrong but I think there were also custody issues after her mom passed away. He also had his legal issues which probably made it impossible for him to travel to U.S. for a good decade or more. Also keep in mind that his little girl is being raised in the age of social media and paparazzi culture so we see her around him a lot more which can give somewhat of a skewed impression.

Lastly, Richa and Trishala not being included in Sanju was a bad bad move on Dutt’s part. But given that Trishala continues to interact with him in the same manner she seems to have accepted it. It still leaves a bad taste that his so called biography ignored his first born and her deceased mother.

Star kids are not really safe. There was a blind on shruthi haasan, how she almost slept with akki for 5min role in gabbar.

It also depends on the girl, how far she’s willling to go to get some movies, maintain that life style or fame.

Even akki and other stars have asked their wife to stop working after movies.

That whole thing with sisters was because of maanyata. He clarified on aap ki adalat that his sisters definitely should use dutt surname but my wife also has the right to use it. They were against his marriage with maanyata.

I think them not included might be Hiranis call as he wanted to focus on certain parts. Dutt wanted more stuff to be shown but hirani refused because of the length.

Or maanyata wanted only herself to be shown as mrs dutt because they also didn’t show his 2nd wife.

But rhea, Richa should have been shown. There were many more tragic moments in his life but people are already crying imagine if they showed those too 😂

There was this incident where he comes to New York and sees Richa all weak. It reminded him of his mom, he wept for one hour in the bathroom and then just left, couldn’t take it anymore. People don’t realize how traumatic it can be for him seeing his mom die and then seeing his wife go through the same thing even at the same hospital with the same doctor.

In jail he kept asking his dad when will he be out and one day he finally told him ‘I can’t do anything for you’ that was another moment that broke him and he lost all hope.

So those moments should have been included even his childhood should have been there.

Also Bollywood is definitely not a safe place for women even if you are a star kid. It's not just about guys lusting over you. Women regularly get exploited by producers, directors etc for casting couch to get roles in films. But if he really doesn't care about Trishala then why will he care if she joins Bollywood or not? It'll be more like I'll not help you get any film. Trishala could've worked hard on her own to get her debut like outsiders.

She can't be a poor girl only because she didn't get a film debut handed on her platter. Dutt not caring about her daughter, not considering her as family and as his past, and also not allowing her to join Bollywood because of XYZ reason ,both these things are mutually exclusive.

Of course he cares about her that’s why doesn’t want her in movies, same with his sisters and his younger daughter. His reasoning is actually something else like his dad didn’t want any of the dutt family girls in movies but of course he won’t tell why, we all know why just pretend that it’s an awesome place for women specially mainstream movie actress.

He also said she doesn’t speak Hindi and it’s not that easy to act either. Of course she can’t make it on her own that’s why needed his support. So it’s not like she’s passionate or has talent just wanted the fame.

A lot of actors don’t want their daughters in movies they just don’t talk about it. Rishi, big b, salman, none of them want their daughters/sisters in movies.

Jaldi se sab ki shaadi karadi. Deols too. Esha only could because of hema and deols not considering her real sister otherwise she wouldn’t either.

Even Aditya pancholi and jackie shroff daughters aren’t in movies. No one will come out and say it.

Whilst that may be true, this is Trishala's decision to make. He has no right to "break her legs" if she chooses to be an actor. Moreover, because of his influence in the film industry, he has the power to protect her if he is so concerned against the predators. The presence of bad people shouldn't limit her options. This is like dads telling their daughters to not go clubbing because they may be preyed upon by pervy men. Arrey, tho hum kya ghar pe baithe rahe kyunki kuch ladke self-control nahi seekh pate? Ask them to not go outside then.
