Good music
Films with good stories
The films made now, except for a select few, don't have repeat value.
I miss the simplicity of the years gone by. The papz have taken away the mystery and intrigue that surrounded actors.
Also, social media has made celebrities so accessible that I wish there was still some distance.
I hate songs being recreated... The original songs were so wonderful to listen to.
Moreover, even though I grew up in the early 2000s, I've grown up watching films starting from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and of course from the 90s to now. Cinema was heartfelt and endearing back through all those years. Now, it's all about glamorising everything. I dislike that. We don't need to adopt the Western culture if we have such rich cultural inheritance ourselves. I guess the last film (I don't watch many films now) that really highlighted anything related to India so beautifully was Chennai Express in the song Kashmir Main Tu Kanyakumari. I'm not saying other films don't present the culture but Hindi Cinema has become more about kissing, lovemaking and objectifying which doesn't suit it much. I am not saying it's bad but come on, it's not necessary, either.
Most importantly, name me the last good comedy from the industry?
The actors are also so dull and unappealing.
We need good family dramas.
We need a good film with an excellent story with a stellar star cast & director.

everything is fine, ziyada miss ho raha hai toh YouTube kholo.
The films though made on different subjects today don't have repeat value
Aside from the obvious answers: talent and original films/music.
I am missing spontaneous and energetic personalities in BW, like SRK, Ranveer, and Priyanka. I could watch their interviews for hours uninterrupted. These newbies are like dead fish, no type of personality or authenticity to speak of. It's like they are reading from a script any time they open their mouth. Take me back to the time when celebrities cared less about public perception and said what was really on their mind.
Actors with a sort of maturity in the way they look and in the way you feel when you look at them. IDK how to explain..
As someone already mentioned u don't need to always make movies with a serious concept. Yeah biopic, Movies based on important events or female centric movies are great. But I miss those 90s simple movies. Movies like DDLJ, Hum apke hain Kaun, Hum hai Rahi pyar ke, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Hum Sath Sath Hai. All these movies aren't perfect some have their own flaws. But they are made in such a way that people never get bored watching them again and again. I have watched them so many times still never got bored. But now a days even though I like a movie I feel bored if I watch them again. That magic is missing. They hardly make family movies like Bhagban, HSSH, KKKG. My parents love those movies. Now I doubt there is any movie I can watch with whole family.
Now it feels like every one is trying too hard and failing miserably.
I want the 90s back đ
