The movie that he is in talks including Ishaan in the cast is not the remake of Jersey. Its by Ram Madhwani of neerja fame. It's a story of 2 brothers. More of a action adventure movie.

Jersey's rights have been bought by KJo. And yes the story does sounds like a snooze fest. I will be highly disappointed if Shahid agrees to this one. The above one sounds so much better. Shahid should do more of a massy ones rather than all these critically acclaimed movies. Enough of these for the time being 😡

"One thing that remains to be seen is what Shahid picks up after Kabir Singh. There are already a few discussions happening and the Udta Punjab star was waiting for the response to the remake, to decide on what he wants to do next. Among the offers that have caught his fancy are a film with Nikkhil Advani's banner, the remake of Nani-starrer Jersey with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and another untitled project to be directed by Ram Madhvani.
