Being a doctor myself I can totally relate to Rohit. The Indian tv has always showed medical profession in the wrong light. They show buzzard procedures and nonsense treatment plans.

Loved Deepika, she is playing two roles in the show but I must say she successfully creates a clear demarcation between the characters... so aptly présented so far ❤️

Thank you for the reply.

I completely agree. I can't count the number of times 'TRUE LOVE' has brought a dead person back to life onscreen. It happens in every other TV serial. Seeing the Male Lead strongly protesting against such wrong depiction gives out a good message to the audience also. As Rohit hinted it's these wrong depictions that help spread superstition.

About Dipika, I admire how she's playing both the characters (it's almost like a double role) with a lot of grace.

Thank you for the reply.

I found the pace to be good till now (though that's an individual opinion). I liked that there was no unnecessary 'hits and misses' between the Leads going on for days before they finally meet. Here, the two came face to face only in the second episode (well third from Sonakshi's point of view😉 as she was unconscious during the end of the second episode).

Hi priya. 🤗

Thoroughly enjoyed reading your post. Apt, to the point and conveyed EXACTLY what I wanted to say but so much more articulately.

I've only watched via IG clips and KG had me in splits 🤣🤣. And Deepika's fluctuation between her reel to real is done really well too.

Hope to read many more posts from you.

My sincere thanks to all the people who have liked and/or replied to my original post. While reading all of your enthusiastic takes, I had a smile on my face which refused to disappear.

I have been given a deadline at work. So, will not be able to reply till tomorrow 8 pm (IST). However, once I get free, I will definitely reply individually to all the posts that I have not been able to reply to, so far.

Hope the others have a fruitful discussion. I'll also try to pen down my thoughts on Karan's acting in Episodes 4 and 5, once I'm back.

Hi Priya, I am Renee. Actually, I am from Krishna Chali London forum. That was my first forum and this one will be my second forum at least for now. It's weird that the show which replaced my favourite one, I am supporting that but I am a fan of characters. And , after watching the clips on instagram, I had a good laugh. I didn't want to try this show but I tried and loved it. I agree with each word of yours Priya. Karan is has given a brilliant performance and I don't think any other actor would have justified this role better than Karan. I had a good laugh. It's a breath of fresh air with unique concept of trolling ITV shows by the lead himself. 😂♥

Excellent discussion. You write very well, well done!

I agree to an extent with you in terms of the Maid who was behaving in such a way that you find it odd. But, you said how this show breaks and sustain some stereotypes. Is it not your stereotypical view that believes Maid should not behave in this way? It could be just that the maid is more like a family member, she has some freedom in the house that she works and this is very nice to see indeed. If she lives there then it is her home and family too. Maybe, she is respected and has opportunity to express her desires and does she want to every now and then. She is OTT because I think it was meant to be. They wanted to exaggerate how much Parvati impact people and they did quite obviously. I think her performance added on to the frustration Rohit had. That’s all.

Hi Priya,

I am Sudha . A very nicely written post & agree with many of your points.

Just want to add that not just doctors but Lawyers, the Police & the rest are constantly portrayed unrealistically , rather foolishly in ITV shows.

And here, it’s so refreshing to see Dr. Rohit’s frustration towards all that, while making the audience laugh. 😂, All kudos to the actor👍

I also think the maid is that sample TRP audience which is what keeps shows (like KPK ) running for everrrr. 🙄So we are getting to see that reality on a show in a comical way ...lol . But all in all, this show seems like a breath of fresh air so far & hope it continues to be 🤞🤞
