Bharat Manages To Do Well On Sunday Despite Match

Bharat did well on Sunday as it collected 5.75-6 crore nett. The film should have collected 8 crore nett plus but you take a 6 crore nett when there is a big India v Pak match going on. There could have been a major drop from the business from Saturday but it is pretty much flat. There was some decent growth in mass pockets. This has taken the second weekend to 16 crore nett which is not a good number but considering the limited appreciation and on top the possibility of Sunday going down its a respectable weekend. The trend for all the other releases was down on Sunday and it was only Bharat which bucked this trend with flat collections.

There are centers like Gurgaon and Noida which hardly grow on a normal Sunday even for the biggest of films as evening and night shows dont collect on Sunday in these centers and this film has pretty much trended similar in these places like a normal of Sunday even with the match. The film is best in NCR especially the UP centers of Noida and Ghaziabad and this makes Delhi / UP by far the best circuit for the film.

The total collections of the film are 184 crore nett after the second weekend and if you look at the second second weekend compared to the first then the drop is over 80% which means the film is not really sustaining but the plus is that it has the numbers up on the board already and its not that its completely crashed out either. The collections of Bharat till date are as follow

Friday - 4,00,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 6,00,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 6,00,00,000 apprx

Second Weekend - 16,00,00,000 apprx

Btw I read bharat ticket prices kept low...may be that could be the reason and effected the lifetime collections? Anyways movie is fresh in my mind not that the movie is forgettable....

Bharat Second Monday Business

Bharat is showing normal trending on its second Monday with a drop of 35% apprx from Friday. The film lost business on Sunday due to the cricket match but its not covering any of those losses because if it was then drop on Monday would be better than normal. The same thing happened last week when Sunday was also affected by the match.

The film collected 2.50 crore nett on its second Monday and took its second week total to 18.25 crore nett in four days. The film has grossed 186.50 crore nett till date.

The second week numbers are heading towards the 24-25 crore nett mark which is a low number for such a big film. Earlier this year Total Dhamaal did 36 crore nett apprx and Kesari did 30 crore nett apprx in week two. The second week Bharat number are similar to Gully Boy and it should be doing better than that film.

Overall Bharat is a success and will be a SEMI HIT or HIT film depending on what happens this Friday when there is competition from a major new release. The collections of Bharat till date are as follow

Week One - 1,68,16,00,000

Friday - 4,00,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 6,00,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 5,75,00,000 apprx

Monday - 2,50,00,000 apprx

Do a favour and don't impose your shitty opinion on others. Bharat is a hit and a good film. Kindly keep your jealousy to yourself. If anyone likes Bharat it's up to them and if someone does not like it that's also their own opinion. But you're no one to force others to think a certain way.

Bharat ticket prices were even lower than Luka chuppi and De de pyar de. I don't know why Salman Khan films did kept such lowered prices. Also Indians are mad about cricket and it's the world cup. So they prefer watching matches rather than films. Moreover, it's really extremely hot this summer I believe, so audience want to stay in homes.
