The most ridiculous thing is calling Kasautii an epic love story, season 1 bajaj was a douche, so was season 2 Anurag when he humiliated Pre, both were conveniently whitewashed.

mily, season 2 anurag did not humiliate prerna with any malice or ill feelings. It was uncharacteristic behavior where he mistakenly thought that would make her move on.. he went overboard and that was his only fault. You cannot doubt his love and he is not a grey character.

No comparisons with Mr B of season 1 who was manipulative and cunning to get what he wanted. I believe he made some pictures of Prerna in a compromising positions.What kind of person would do that?

Prerna 2 is not a weak character.Its just that her love for Anurag is stronger in season 2 ( and that is not a sign of weakness). Love is not about leaving somebody on the 1st fight where you are insulted. She did not discard his love prior to the humiliation in huff and move on ( like a teenage fight). It takes guts to hang on.

Anurag 2 is not whitewashed. One could see his suffering along with P. He maynot have been subjected to same insults but he was equally miserable. Just in a helpless situation ( may not be the best creatively) but nonetheless he was in a situation where he was caught. He had lost his dad and had the sole responsibility of running his family, not something he had done before. The moment his dad came back, you could see him gain some confidence. He does not need to fall on knees and ask for forgiveness. Prerna would never want that. She has seen how trapped he was and understands him and that is all that matters.

I guess perception of love is different for everybody and so is meaning of self respect/ego ( grey areas).

Enough has been said about the characters of season 2.

The bottom line is character will be written weak or string as per the demand of the story and its all open to the interpretation of the viewer
