I didnt watch the epi but in the update it was mentioned something prerna said when anurag asked why didnt u say ilu to me etc ..something about her happiness..hell if komo didnt go out , what was she doing in basu house? What kind of future did she imagine for herself at that time? If it was she who did all this, cleared komo from her way, trusted anurag and her love , all this big talk made sense but now?

its not escapism, they dont trust each other from begining, they take stupid decision and choose easy way of sacrifice to get rid of each other.
