Still a BIG NO to possessive heroes. I do have a few biases from past because I see them in whole picture now and see the positives more, and it was part of my childhood. I can't hate the goods of the childhood, so there will be biases. Like people love Twilight still even though they wouldn't go for something similar now.

However, if I see possessive heroes now, I drop the show or the book. It has happened 😆

I think I'm just gonna say Manik is not Dao Ming Si, but maybe an adaptation of the original manga character? I haven't read it so can't even say for sure either.

IDK for sure if the show is plagiarized or not though. Could be, who knows if BBC got rights or not. Or if they even needed those rights?
