I won't say it's only the opposition fault though. Opposition is the catalysis,while bjp still does propagate a majority appeasing tactics. It's a cycle I feel. In future one day right wing will get backlash n left will again get majority. You can't go on favouring one community above other no matter which community it is. What has this govt. done as a step of majority appeasement? M talking about concrete steps..like Mamta has done in Bengal for minority appeasement.

Did it give reservation to 'upper class'? Did it take away any rights from Dalits or minority? Did it apply GST only on minorities and spared majority?

Anything that would count as vote bank politics?

Rather , it's GST and demonetization were touted as issues that would turn majority middle class voters against it..Sadly for oppo. it didn't happen

I was extremely surprised by Karnataka and Bengal. Damn, they gave Mamta a tough fight. In Delhi, it's a clean sweep. Can't imagine the condition of Kejriwal.

It's high time for Rahul to step down. He cannot be a impactful leader that congress needs. Shashi Tharoor or someone more capable should be the president.

Same. Too much focus on any religion makes the country really conservative imo. And I really really dream for a homophobia misogyny free India with progressive society n flourishing economy

That is distant dream though. Politics is so murky n bad everywhere. Like USA is a country you as a child used to think is the heaven for progressive people. Now it had. A president who bragged about grabbing women by their private parts n recently made blanket ban on abortion to control women.

Sashi tharoor most probably killed his wife though, I know investigation is still going but he's not a good candidate .

Also I don't think name-calling anyone who's opposing your views is very beneficial. A country needs opposition for balance,if it was one party everywhere n everyone agreed, dictatorship is the next step. It's necessary for democracy that opposition exists. Being a properliberal thinker as a whole is a good thing anyways. We tend to politicize every word
