Why can’t BW make good action movies ?

Just saw John Wick 3 and noticed it is not much different from typical BW masala movies where 1 aging superstar beats up 1000 guys and is invincible with the exceptions only being good action sequences and a decent plot . It did not even need special VFX effects or some great acting so why can’t BW make action movies like that ?

John wick is a professional assassin who is the best in his field. Not some normal guy who killed 100 people just because villains killed his wife or mother like in bollywood movies.

Even the likes of Simmba, Singham are supposed to be best in the world 😆

Because it requires vision and hardwork.

Like all John wick movies have different set pieces to make it interesting , uses different camerawork and style , for eg John wick 2 has one scene where two assasins and trying to kill each other in a Subway station using silencer and all.

For eg. Take mission impossible movies , the idea is same , one superstar actor doing impossible stunts but they make it interesting such as each movie have different stunts , one movie would have heist scene , a spy scene , some thing big like Halo jump or climbing abu dhabi or stealing underwater than mixing it with some big action scenes ,there is variety and variation and scenes cinematography that gives an idea that you are watching something really entertaing.

In case of bw , the story is first of all too dumb even if you disregard it the action is really bad , how many times you can see hero slaps and kick and villain is flying 100 metre away.

There is no variety in stunts and action they are still running same old dishoom dishoom thing .

You can also look the difference between baghi and raid movies , the idea is same but the execution is so different, the action of raid would make action of baghi look childish .

Action movies need hardwork and creativity which unfortunately Bollywood lack.

agree with shy on that thing though, Bollywood is lazy and relies on hype and whatever worked than actual content and creativity.

we may don't know they're always undercover 🤷‍♂️. The Syrian sniper in American sniper movie was based on a real guy who killed 100s of US soldiers. Thats one example i can think of

Last mission impossible movie was pretty bollywoodesque. But it was very well made. The fist fight between cruise and Henry cavil is nuts.

John Wick has unrealistic fight scenes, which doesn't happen in real life.

But it is enjoyable and fantastic to look at, but let's not try to give logical explanations about them lol.
