Shahid Kapoor becomes the latest celebrity to join the bandwagon of celebrities who have their wax statues at the Madame TussaudsMuseum in Singapore. And if his twitter post is anything to go by, he is quite excited for the same. Taking to his Twitter handle, Shahid shared with his fans the news of him being immortalised in wax at the prestigious Madame Tussauds Museum in Singapore. The actor also revealed that this will be his first and only wax statue there.

According to reports, Shahid Kapoor will be flying to Singapore to unveil his wax figure. Speaking about the significance of his wax statue, he reportedly said that it takes our cinema to an international level as it’s a global platform. He also added that it helps one connect with people that one probably wouldn’t reach out to, in any other way.

Elaborating further, he averred that he feels blessed to be a part of it. And of course, most dignitaries whose figurines are there at the museum are those whom they have grown up watching and idolising. For the actor, he confessed that to be featured among them because somebody thinks of him in a similar way is a huge compliment.

On the work front, he will next be seen in the official Hindi remake of Telugu film, ‘Arjun Reddy’ which has been titled, ‘Kabir Singh’ in Hindi. The film also stars Kiara Advani in the female lead. The trailer of the film is all set to be unveiled on May 13.

Doncha insult Mithun Da now. The man did some seriously, seriously C-grade movies in the late 90s but he was in the top 3 male stars of the 80s decade. Put some respect on that name lol. Shahid ain't worthy of licking his boots.

Mithun is a legend btw. I watch his B C grade movies and he's damn entertaining and a tremendous perfomer, Yo people's so-called legend that Bahchan is not fit to lick his boots.

Let's not go overboard. I like Sasha but Shahid and in fact even the mighty Khans arent in the same league as Mithun.

Wouldn't be shocked if it turns out actor/actresses are paying for these wax statues to be made or Madame Tussauds just writes multiple paper slips having the names of modern Bollywood celebrities they have heard of once before and shake them in a bag and pull out who they will make. They are missing so many classic and iconic actors from North Indian and beyond.
