Yes he accepts her as patni but he hasn't realized his feelings for her yet.

Accepting someone as patni & having feelings isn't the same thing.

& in precap he just said they don't have normal pati-patni wala relation indicating physical intimacy

So, that doesn't demote her from the position of his "patni" nor did he do anything such cause he wholeheartedly accepted her as his patni with or without any physical intimacy.
