Thanks..u know what point am trying to bring foward...only point like foriegners don't loose thier originality being in India why should desi's do otherwise..

But seeing desi's in US am like...I mean even tho they are right ...they don;t hitch to say sorry... and accepting a mistake which they never made.

Keep wondering why?? is it becuase of complex or its just the fact any foreign national will adopt the same atitude, fearing the locals.

Aren't we over cautious and considerate in foreign nations ?

i think desis lack confidence by and large. they might be academically bright but are generally awkward in social settings. that's a cultural thing i think. so even when they might be right, they are generally not confident enuff to know they are right and to hold firm. they are also probably quieter, more cerebral and less confrontational, all of which makes them cut a sorry figure as the easier way out of their discomfort. 😊

Nothing odd in being over cautious and extra considerate in foreign nations...Its like visiting a relatives home..Don't we become and behave extra nice and considerate!

you forgetting one point raj.. foreigners coming to india unless they are from bangladesh or pakistan or some other like country might feel that way.. but not those coming from the western world...western world people would be more like condescending...and wont have inferiority complex......most of the time.. some of them yes.. sure if somebody from alabama visits mumbai they will appear bumpkins..😆

weird topic...perhaps a USonly phenomenon???? 😆

In UK we have no such problem that I'm aware of

All desis go about their business in the normal way like all the rest of us "born and bred" types....

Just my English POV!

erm....not quite sure whether you talk as a Yank or are referring to me as an Angrez.....

I certainly dont believe I'm inferior to anyone and would like to think fellow Asians in UK feel exactly the same. Different people may feel they have been treated in an inferior way, but we certainly dont hold ourselves out to be anything less than the next person...

Whew! That's a lot of explaining....hope it made sense!😆
