Misty is the most realistic character in the show. Some 20-30 yrs back , if any girl was in the same position,she will just keep quiet n go ahead with the wedding. The fear of the society, family , friends will eat her brains. This will result only in a very unhappy marriage where the couple will keep fighting 24*7 n the children will also grow in this environment . I know many couples who have compatibility issues. Still living together for the sake of the society, children n family.

Now girls have the guts to stop the wedding if there r issues. They will be called all kinds of names but they don't give a damn. Till the time they break the relationship they will be going thro' hell. If veer had been in the same position, he too will be called names. Boy/ girl , they just cannot go n break a relationship without blinking an eye. It's too difficult. They will do it eventually but that will be only after a lot analysis n self introspection. The society will judge them. Here Misti has always tried to be perfect n now this confusion is breaking her. One bad decision n she is branded. This is how society works. Ya. So can understand what misty is going thro' .
