there are not many people who watch the show with only other reasons completely excluding Akshan.

Guddu is smart but she needs to learn that, evil can lurk around wearing masks & learn to identify them.

The funny thing is this show has been sucessful cause of the couple and the main characters not mainly cause of the concept. Infact I was not interested in the show when I saw its first promo, voh toh maine by chance yeh show dekh liya and trust me this is my fav show right now. After soooo long I have been so attached to a show and yes mainly credit goes to Akshan. They didnt even show a glimpse of the best character of this show(Akshat) in the promo.

A fact :- the show opened with a high TRP of 2.4 with no glimpse of AJ or Akshan in the promo in its 1st week. I guess that itself speaks regarding the concept cause TRP comes only after one watches an episode. If the TRP for even 1 episode than was less than 2 this won't have been the result.

An individual can't judge the overall reason for a show's success based on that individual's taste. One's choice isn't the choice of entire mass. Or else top 10 forums of saas- bahu hating IF would have had their shows on top 10 rating chart.
