Alia Bhatt reveals her desire to work in Shakun Batra's Osho biopic

Alia Bhatt, who is now gearing up for the release of Kalank, was reported to be in talks for Shakun Batra's biopic on god-man Osho Rajneesh. However, there were rumours that this film was put on hold, as Priyanka Chopra announced her next Hollywood project based on Ma Anand Sheela's (Osho's disciple) book, to be directed by Barry Levinson.

According to the latest reports, Alia Bhatt stated that the director floated the idea to her and she's keen to work on the film as well. She mentioned that while she had agreed to do the film, the project is in its initial stages at the moment. She added she would love to work on the same once director Shakun Batra gives a go-ahead.

Meanwhile, while she's promoting her upcoming period drama Kalank, she has her kitty full with many exciting ventures like Brahmastra, Takht, Sadak 2, Inshallah and the South biggie RRR.

Her next film Kalank is directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Dharma Productions. The film will hit the theatres on April 17, 2019.

And ofcourse before release media ko batana mat bhulna ke Shakun had only you in mind while writing the character. Okay Alia? Rinse and repeat movie after movie 😆

Pretty sure the ones which Alia doesn't 'reveal a desire to work in' go to Jahnvi,and again Jahnvi hand-me-downs will now go to Ananya. Puri hierachy hain bhai. Tara is the other Kiara. The step daughters. Unhe kuch achha nahi milega in this hierarchy for Alia-Jahnvi-Ananya. 😆
