I have just started watching since RV(rohit purohit) has entered the show, but I do know some of the story!!! the story is about a Punjabi girl happy mehra(Amritsar) and rocky khosla, RockyHappy, RoHa shares love hate relationship like most of the Gul shows, and then the circumstances lead to happy marrying Rocky's older brother Chintu, but happy is also abducted by rocky because he wants to take revenge from happy due to something she did to set him straight(perhaps) then chintu dies, leaving a msg behind about his dream hotel so the circumstances again brings RoHa together and giving rocky a chance to become a better man by fulfilling the dreams of his late brother by teaming up with happy, rocky is befriended with bhatia's daughter sanya(a multi millionaire like ambani😆) who has some bipolar disorder and is obsessed with rocky, they both try to bring hurdles in roha's way but they face it together and in the journey gets closer emotionally and began to learn about each other , rocky begins to feel attracted towards happy and vice versa and then enters RV and Anaya along with RV's younger brother ranveer who had a confrontation with smiley happy's sister(dunno the reason, didn't watch that episode) RV and anaya are lawyers and roha are successful in impressing them in order to get a deal which will be helpful in achieving chintu's dreams...RV too begins to get attracted towards happy, now during holi RV's younger brother abducts smiley with his friends to avenge her obviously with bad intentions but rocky follows that car(rocky's doesn't know it's junior rv, earlier junior rv gets his hands on rocky's phone) later he frames rocky and leaves rocky there so it will look llike rocky abducts smiley, but sanya rocky's old friend whom rocky later left records all this.

Rocky is innocently put behind the bars and RV on knowing the truth that his brother not rocky was the real culprit, sends his younger brother away and creates a false proof that rocky is the culprit and rocky is imprisoned for 10 yrs, also it was bhatia who shows RV's uncle grover the video proving younger RV doing the crime, RV is in a fix because he feels bad for rocky and loves his brother, but he chooses his brother over rocky and rocky is imprisoned.All misunderstands and hates rocky except for his mother and dadi.

Then there's a three year leap, RV and Happy have become friends , RV feels guilty for wronging rocky and also he's falling slowly for happy and is helping her in the hotel project and feels concerned about her and is unhappy about the fact that he's deceiving happy by keeping her in dark and rocky has fled from jail with the help of an inspector who owes rocky, then after escaping rocky makes his life's goal to avenge all those who wronged him including happy who had testified against him in the court. Now he's back as shaan randhawaaa...

Also bhatia is involved in illegal work and he wants both lawyers rv and gorver to cover up for their black money that's why the bhatia daughter father duo blackmails rv and grover with that video which is a proof of rocky's innocence and ranveer's crime, precisely they both are exchanging favors in order to protect their secrets.

@dmegha: if you only want to enjoy RP&JB's chemistry as RanHa, you can start watching from 11th March episode, just like I did, 11th March marks also RP's entry in the show, goshh both made an impact in the very first scene, you just need to watch for these two if not from the start.
