Karan is hiring people he had never worked with before for Takt. He hired the DOP of Uri and Neerja, Amit Trivedi in his tapecast said he is working on a Kjo project (most are assuming he is talking about Takt) and the sudden love Kjo and Aloo is having for Sabya (all his students Alia, Tara, Ananya, Janhvi were at the 20th celebration of Sabya show) he wore Sabya for the recent Ambani wedding (ditched Manish for the firsr time) makes me think he may go for Sabya for Takt.

Also the writer and script writer of Takht are indie writers Sumit Roy and Hussain Haidry were highly oraised by Anupama Chopra and Anurag Kashyap. I think as Takht is his passion projrct Kjo is going all out to prove that he can be the best outdo SLB. He is definitely trying and assembling a good team for Takht. Lets see how he execute the script.

Would really love to see Karan working with a whole new competent team.

I know the story is good and has great potential but it all depends on the execution. Fingers crossed.

I think I might turn in to a Kjo stan (albeit temporarily and superficially) by the time Takht release. 😆 I'm literally the only one with an iota of confidence in this movie. I trust kjo the meglomaniac, narcissist, business and marketing genius to bring his A-game so that he can prove to the world he is a good director. I think he will go for a competent team who know what they are doing. Have no faith in his actual directorial abilities but this is his vanity/ego project so he will try his best. 😆
