Also even Pakistan wasn't so grand and magnificent during that era. 😆Roop and Dev are escaping, but we don't know where they are going.

"Karan got Amrita Mahal Nakai to work on the set's design and structure. They have created an old Delhi mohalla with a mahal, where filming is currently on. Kalank is set against the backdrop of the Partition. Since it's based in the 1940s, the set has been designed keeping that particular period in mind," added DNA's source.

This is a Bollywood historical movie. Is there any Bollywood historical movie that had realistic sets. Was the golden palace in which Mastani dances in Bajirao Mastani actually exist in that time? Were the big Bengali houses of Paro and Devdas in pre independence Kolkatta realistic? It's a Bollywood movie everything will be larger than life. May be only Jodha Akbar would be a movie where most of the sets were realistic of the time period it was set in. But most Bollywood historical movies do have larger than life kind of sets.
