Rani can really dance real good. I loved her in "Nach Baliye" from Bunty Aur Babli and she rocked "Hadippa [Remix]" from Dil Bole Hadippa! But I didn't think she was great in 'Main Vari Vari" from Mangal Pandey.

And of course she was so amazing in all the songs in Aiyyaa <33333

By the way, in terms of acting, Rani is not far behind Madhuri in talent. But Madhuri is Madhuri. The ultimate queen.

Although Rani's last 5 films compared with Madhuri's last 5 = Rani is way ahead 😲

Yes because Rani has maintained consistency. Madhuri was a good actress in her prime time. Even though she was more known for her beauty and dance. If you watch movies like mrityudand or anjaam you will see her acting skills.

But after her comeback she doesn't have the same charm or presence as before. Whereas Rani has been impressive throughout. She was very good in Mardani & Hitchki.

Not only 90s heroines but Rani is also the best actress among her own contemporaries/generation. The only actresses I find better than Rani are Tabu and Urmila. The other good ones like Vidya, Manisha and current best Kangy are all after Rani. I hate Rani as a person, but her talent is really undeniable. So to answer your question, YES! Rani is better. Madhuri is not bad but when it comes to acting, Rani is just better.
