I might be missing, but Madz never played tough cop or similar roles,

she was presented as stunner, and thats what people like about her.

I wonder if all the kids here who grew up watching Rani, has actually watched all of Madz movies...to call her lacking in acting...

for me, both are on same level...both have done some good work in acting...yes Rani lacks in terms of dance, but that shouldnt be counted in acting department... but even in dance department, she was decent, not bad...as for movies like Hitchki, I am sure Madz wouldve performed well to, if given a chance but her choice of roles post comeback is bad and Rani has the benefit of YRF

On the contrary she did played a cop and other strongsroles tro none of her roles were mere show pieces. In Beta she was hero of film. Same with 100days.

I think so. I can just relate so much when she acts. Rani has that relatability whether its the girl next door, innocent girl or strong woman. I just hope she works out of yrf.

Rani all the way is Better than Madhuri. I always liked Madhuri but inly for her dance. The characters which Rani has played in films with consistency, Madhuri can never do that. Moreover, Rani still has the power to Hit the film's which Madhuri doesn't.

Hmmm.. this is a difficult one.

Rani was great in Black. Nothing else impressed me as much as that.

Madz might not be as good as her in intense roles but she is good in most roles, even superb- and her dancing (her eyes"!!) and general poise add something that Rani can never have.

Madhuri has the X factor by the bucketloads.

Rani has to use her acting to get some of that X factor.. and even then it's hit and miss, IMO.

Madhuri played a cop in Khalnayak but still she had to do a Choli ke Peeche

She played a doctor in Sailab and she did Humko Aajkal hai Intezar in that movie
