so according to you, narrative of the movies should be changed because it might not please some internet feminists.
You're saying as if the narrative was that Vaidehi didn't knew him and it was the first time she met her, and still pardon him because of his abuse, because girls generally love abusive people.

That wasn't the narrative of the movie. Narrative was why he did that, and why she responded that way. And she all know it is the guilt factor, Vaidehi was a feminist, but she also knew she had hurt many people including Badri, and had to think sensibly. Because Badri was not some sadak chap gunda, she was someone whose life has been destroyed by Vaidehi.

And that gay scene is just what the mentality of Badri is, he isn't some refined intellectual, he is still UP ka launda where he sees that dowry is normal, men work and women stay at home.
