Lukka Chuppi Fair Start - Sonchiriya Very Poor

There were two new releases this week with Lukka Chuppi and Sonchiriya with the former taking a fair opening of around 20%. Lukka Chuppi had a song or two for the youth which would have have helped the film though the songs were nothing compared the hero Kartik Aryan's last film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.
Not only the songs but the trailer was poor compared to Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. That film was one of the rare small films which looked good from the trailer itself due to a certain look. Despite this though Lukka Chuppi will have a similar opening to Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety due to tax changes and it probably has more face value than today than that film had last year.
Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, the last two films of Kartik Aryan opened at around the 6.25 crore nett mark and this film can be in the same range. The film will grow over the weekend but it will be the weekdays that will decide the fate as weekend growth is there for every other film now.
Sonchiriya is a very poor fare with very dull collections. Its just hard to even understand why such films are made and although it does not have stars it does have recognizable faces and it will be a waste of time for even these actors as forget numbers just getting a little audience will be a struggle.
