She will be winning awards after awards for best actress it seems and all she has to say is thanks karan.
she lacks depth and is uninspiring despite being talented. her privilege overpowers her success.
I watched lady gaga's speech from the oscars...and it was beautiful how she talked about how hard she worked to get where she is even with struggle.
do we fail to relate to people who dont struggle?
I am definitely guilty of it. I consider alia less of a star than say a deepika.
is this fair?

It depends I suppose. I enjoy Alia

I love Salman and maybe part of it is how he turned his life around from the stunts he was pulling 2002 👏👏

Yes I do relate less to Alia because she basically had no struggle
she got work on a platter since she was around 18
even after her debut she still has papa johar looking out for her and offering her roles

As an actor, she delivers every time she faces the camera...That's all I want to relate to, as far as an actor is concerned...I don't draw my life inspiration from any of these people otherwise! And as far as saying thanks to Karan - Indians put their mentors/Guru on a pedestal and I don't see nothing wrong with it... I personally don't see it as problematic that she chooses to thank Karan along with her Parents and loved ones!

People cribbing about Alia's privileges is like saying All Rich people are Bad😲 And poor people are Good.
She is privileged let's just accept it. But karan can't make her act. She has to work. And karan would have stopped giving her opportunities if her films had flopped.

Don't care who she's thanking. All that matters is that she's doing stuff that are actully worth the awards

I don't relate to any of the celebs, outsiders ho ya insiders.
Most of them are well off narcissistic anyways.
