Instead of wasting time behind Mauli trying to get his memory back, they should have shown him suffering like Mauli did 6 years ago. At least he would have understood what she went through because of his betrayal. He should have died a little more each day before eventually getting his memory back. So far he knew that he was wrong but never understood the pain she went through.
