I feel like there is some jumping to the conclusion happening from Ishaan's side. He is the go to "do gooder" of the show atm. So, he'll just conclude that he need to do the good thing and back off.

Honestly, promos of this show tends to be a OTT scene, which without context looks and sounds dramatic but in the episodes itself those scenes are done quite well and dealt decently. I dont expect Pari's words to be the turning point of the love story. That will be pathetic. If Ishaan himself witnesses or even suspects Mouli getting closer to Kunal, then okay I can understand him second guessing the marriage. But to go on Paris word would be too silly.
