this is not new to IB. we ppl also suffered the same and requested/begged starplus to provide us promo and repeats. but that didnt happen...

but we always stayed in top 20 without promos and repeats...except some weeks(3 weeks or so i think but not continuously)

Initial episodes ishqbaaaz had good trps. Then during shivika shaadi there was big shoot up in trp. Then during another shivika track the show came in top 5. It maintained good trps. Later spin off of ishqbaaaz (dil bole oberoi) started at 10:30. Ishqbaaaz had 2+ trps. Then later dil bole oberoi's trp reduced. So they merged it back with ishqbaaaz and we got 1 hour epi. But people couldn't sit for 1 hour to watch so they made it half an hour again. After meger trp was stable but for few weeks it was out of top 20. But later it came back in trp race. Then they started concept of alternative universe. It was new concept to itv so people didnt understand. Trp was 1.4 for 2 weeks. Then it again shooted up due to shivika marriage. Then it was in top 20. Then came the sudden decision of leap. I dont why they took leap as the week before leap trp was 1.6 and week before that 2.1 without any promotion. Ishqbaaaz never got any promotion. We used to beg them.

So it was 1.9 and stable for so long.It decreased to 1.7 in Mallika track...and it again raised to 1.9 within a week and was always in Top 20...After Daksh track started ie.,almost after 6 months of the show..it reduced to 1.5. ...With Shivika forced shaadi,it had a huge jump of around 2.4 i guess and was at top10...And at the end of fake Memory loss track of Anika /ShiTia fake shaadi/ Tia revealation track it had the highest trps of 2.9 and was at Top 9 in BARC trp list and even the channel sent a cake to the team congratulating them 😆

First week trp -1.7

Second week -1.6

But first week it was at 9 th position in BARC...second week at 11 th position...so more than the trp...the position of the show in Top20 is taken into account...

I will add first 2 months trps here..when i get time lol...have to dig up all the old pages here...
