I think you have forgotten to highlight the part where I have said that loving him doesn't necessarly mean going back to him. You have left it out of the entire quote.
I disagree, Mauli was never able to move on. Wasn't that why Kunal and his family did all that drama so that Mauli COULD move on. She broke her engagement because of Ishaans mother, but didn't she abruptly agree to get engaged after Kunals return like Dida mentioned. A Mauli that had moved on would not have reacted the way she did after Kunals return, getting jealous when he was another women? dreaming of her and kunal playing with Mishti? getting drunk and telling kunal how much she loved him in the past?.
I don't think Mauli ever forgot his betrayal, I don't think Mauli ever wants to go back to Kunal. But i stand firm when I say that Kunals drama of kicking her out of the house, lowering himself even more in her eyes by pretending to have a relationship with nandinis friend, pretending to hit her, openly disrespecting Mauli even more- finally gave her the push to move on.
FINAL POINT- just because i say Mauli was not able to move on from Kunal that doesn't mean I'm suggesting that she wanted to get back in his life. I don't think Mauli ever wanted that.
