It's an ad for a mouth freshner and if I understand well, people on Twittet are blasting her because of this product link to tobacco.

Maybe smokers have a habit of using this ?

Don't know how but all the articles discussing this have been removed or deleted from every news portal - Times, Deccan Chronicle, Spotboye, India Today etc. Damn her team really managed to pull off nearly all the news from the net 👏

Anushka Sharma slammed for endorsing a Pan Masala'

Actress Anushka Sharma, is known to follow a vegan lifestyle and had also refused to endorse a fairness product. But recently, the Zero' actress came under fire from netizens for endorsing a pan masala product. Yes, Anushka has shared a video where she is seen promoting a Rajnigandha product. Netizens soon took the actress to task for promoting a company whose primary product is a Pan Masala.

On Monday, the actress took to her Twitter account to share a video of the TV commercial.

In the video, we can see Anushka Sharma playing a showstopper at a fashion show where she prevents a fellow model from wardrobe malfunction. In the later portion of the ad, she can be seen consuming the product.

@AnushkaSharma did not expect a responsible person like you to advertise a gutkha manufacturing company product.rajnigandha makes products which leads to cancer and other diseases.Even your husband is legally prohibited from endorsing such products...why are you doing it?

Watch out for articles on how other a-list actresses also promote problematic brands.

Her manager is very effective at changing the narrative as long as it doesn't go viral on twitter. Once the rumors of Anushka sleeping with her director Anurag started floating in blinds, the next day every portal carried articles on Virat being spotted at her flat.

She escaped the backlash on her plagiarized fashion line by putting out articles on how Deepika's Myntra does the same. Yet till date none of Myntra's designs have been a direct lift of just slapping their label on. Neither has Deepika ever taken credit for coming up with the designs. Same for anytime Katrina gets compared, Anushka is always the best. There's a video of Viral praising Katrina during his rookie years that resurfaced a few years ago. Next thing you know there's articles on Virat idolizing Anushka on how different she is from other bollywood actresses

When everyone was getting called out for endorsing fairness creams, she managed to escape the wrat by changing the definition of Nivea's fairness lotion 😆

No one really calls out Anushka's PR but her manager is more efficient than DP + Kat pr teams put together.

More than Anushka's PR, it could be Rajnigandha's PR. Actors are trolled day in and day out, but a mouth freshner branded as a tobacco product could mean crores of losses to the producer.
