It sure seems like it, he has declined so much in this past decade. Not delivering a proper hit for 5 years shows how much his star power has faded.

His own fault really, he picked so many crappy scripts and audience expects more especially from him. It doesn't help that even usually good directors suddenly go full retard with him, see Imtiaz and ALR etc.

A lifelong fan here. I don't think anything will change that. As they say "Don't cry because its over, smile because it happened"

Some people still see Rajesh Khanna as the evergreen romantic hero. Some people still see Amithabh as an angry young man. For people like me, Shahrukh Khan will always be the King Khan of Bollywood.

I'm a nerd. In my circles, The Original Trilogy are the best Star Wars movies. Compared to today, the SFX was sub-par. The plot simplistic. The acting OK. And honestly, George Lucas just made up the twins thing on the fly. What makes the original special is the nostalgia. Similarly, I think DDLJ will be immortal for many romance fans as the godfather of romance.

As a fan though, I am miffed at SRK. He's stuck in the past and hasn't evolved. I don't mind him being a romantic lead as long as we are more realistic about his age. I don't mind him being a dwarf of attempting sci fi - as long as he can decide what the film is about - instead of making a messy potpourri of genres that don't go together.

Hopefully, the Rakesh Sharma biopic is good. If not oh well, all stars fade someday.

For the love of cinema, onward, the show must go on.
