What I loved about Maharas was how the represented purush immersing himself in prakriti. Or rather the masculine aspect is completely surrendering to the feminine. Not the ego of masculine,but surrender of feminine defines raas or dance of love. Narayan is that man who for sustaining life on this planet, to show love to the world knows though he is a man to experience love he has to immerse himself in feminine. That's why Krishna is called poornavatar as feminine is part of him. He doesnt need another woman to complete himself, he is complete in himself and he gives Mahadev that completion in gopeshwar bhaav.
That gopeshwar linga in vrindavan is symbolic of letting go of your ego and immersing in love as one. There is only Radhakrishna when raas happens. They are one. It is not Radha and Krishna.
And what I loved was our society expects a woman to part of man losing her identity, but narayan shows real progress, real love, real humanity happens when a man loses himself in a woman, in her love and by respecting her evokes and keeps all feminine aspects in her. Because feminine is love and nurture, while masculine is all about ego.
